HMS Queen Elizabeth R08 Queen Elizabeth Class Aircraft Carrier 2018 Leaving Portsmouth Photo Print
HMS Queen Elizabeth (R08), a Queen Elizabeth Class aircraft carrier, on her way out of harbour in 2018, photographed at eye level from the shingle, port side to the camera and close inshore. The sky is cloudless and the water almost flat, a swimmer is out in the foreground and a police launch sits in the water inshore of her. There are no aircraft on deck, and her whole length from the ramp at the bow to her stern fills the frame.
In 2021 she led the United Kingdom Carrier Strike Group on her first operational deployment, some 28 weeks through the Mediterranean and Indian Ocean to the Pacific and back. F-35B Lightnings of 617 Squadron flew from her deck alongside a squadron of United States Marine Corps jets. Warships of the Royal Navy, the United States Navy and the Royal Netherlands Navy sailed as part of the group.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
