HMS Quorn M41 Hunt Class Minehunter May 1996 Photo Print
HMS Quorn (M41), a Royal Navy Hunt Class minehunter, under way off Portsmouth on 4 May 1996, photographed from sea level on her port side. One man stands right forward on the forecastle, the White Ensign streams from the staff aft, and a low line of land shows faintly through the haze beyond her. The after deck is packed with mine countermeasures gear and gantries, with a white dome abaft the funnel.
The Hunt class are named after British fox hunts, this one after the Quorn Hunt in Leicestershire. She was the thirteenth and last of her class, built by Vosper Thornycroft, launched on 23 January 1988 and commissioned the following year. Portsmouth was her home port, so the water in this photograph was familiar ground.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
