HMS Raider P275 Archer Class P2000 Patrol Vessel October 2012 Photo Print
HMS Raider (P275), a Royal Navy Archer Class patrol vessel, comes in on the Clyde on 23 October 2012, seen close to head on from fine on her port bow, with autumn woodland and a white house on the shore behind her. A general purpose machine gun is mounted at the bridge wing and a sailor with a rifle stands on the foredeck, while officers and ratings in foul weather clothing look out from the open bridge, her ship's badge on the side below them. The day is grey and still, and only a low wash spreads away from her bow.
She arrived at HM Naval Base Clyde in October 2012 with her sister Tracker to take over the work of the Faslane Patrol Boat Squadron from HMS Pursuer and HMS Dasher, the two older boats that had done it since the squadron was formed in 2010. Until then both had been university training craft, and before the move north they were fitted with ballistic protection and weapon mountings, the armed fit that can be seen here. The squadron's task is the security of the base and of the movements in and out of it.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
