HMS Richmond F239 Type 23 Frigate May 2011 Photo Print
HMS Richmond (F239), a Royal Navy Type 23 frigate, in an elevated portrait view off her starboard bow on 9 May 2011, during her deployment east of Suez that year. The sea is almost flat under a hazy sky, a trail of dark exhaust smoke drifts away astern of her, and members of the ship's company are out on the starboard bridge wing. The upright framing runs from the machine gun mounted right forward on the forecastle, past the mast and its signal flags, to her after superstructure.
That year she took part in Exercise Bersama Shield with ships from Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia and Singapore under the Five Power Defence Arrangements, which reached their fortieth anniversary in 2011. She commanded the task group for several of the serials, including air defence and anti submarine work, with her Merlin helicopter flying from the flight deck. The same deployment also saw her on anti piracy patrols with the EU Naval Force.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
