HMS Scott H131 Ocean Survey Vessel Starboard Bow View Photo Print
HMS Scott (H131), a Royal Navy ocean survey vessel, heads almost straight towards the camera under a flat grey sky, seen fine on her starboard bow so that the bridge front and mainmast rise high above the flared forecastle. Rust has run down the plating from the hawse recess, and a handful of her crew are up on the bridge wing and the forecastle. Behind her a dark wooded shore climbs to green fields with a few houses at the water's edge; neither the date nor the place is recorded.
On 28 June 2005 she carried the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall at the International Fleet Review at Spithead, held to mark two hundred years since Trafalgar. More than 160 ships from Britain and over thirty other nations took part. It was an unusually public role for a ship whose working life is spent far out of sight of land.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
