HMS Severn P282 River Class Patrol Vessel Port View Photo Print
HMS Severn (P282), a Royal Navy River Class patrol vessel, steers across a dark, white capped sea in this aerial view, taken from high on her port side with the full length of her upper deck in sight. She is in plain grey, with a sea boat stowed amidships, the broad open working deck aft and an ensign flying from her mast. Neither the date nor the photographer is recorded.
Severn was built by Vosper Thornycroft at Woolston, Southampton, and joined the fleet in 2003, the first Royal Navy ship to carry the name in 56 years. She is the second of the three Batch 1 River Class ships, alongside Tyne and Mersey. A modified fourth ship, HMS Clyde, was built later for the Falkland Islands patrol.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
