HMS Sheffield F96 Type 22 Frigate June 2001 Dress Ship Photo Print
HMS Sheffield (F96), a Royal Navy Type 22 frigate, lies at anchor off Anguilla on 19 June 2001, dressed overall for the Queen's official birthday. Lines of signal flags run from the jackstaff up over both masts and down to the stern, the Union Flag flies at the jackstaff and her anchor cable leads from the bow into grey, lightly rippled water under a cloudy sky. The view is of her starboard side, with F96 clear on the hull.
She crossed the Atlantic that year for a Caribbean deployment, joining counter drugs patrols with allied ships in between visits to the islands. Anguilla is a British Overseas Territory, and from June onwards a British warship in those waters is also expected to be ready to help the territories if a hurricane strikes. Dressing overall, with flags strung from stem to stern, is kept for royal anniversaries and other set occasions.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
