HMS Shipham M2726 Ham Class Minesweeper July 1984 Photo Print
HMS Shipham (M2726), a Royal Navy Ham Class minesweeper, under way on 15 July 1984, seen from high up off her starboard bow. Her hull is black with a red band along the waterline, her decks are painted green and a blue ensign streams from her lattice mast. A small group of her crew stands aft and two more by the bridge, while the wake of another vessel cuts across the water behind her.
Shipham was one of 93 Ham Class inshore minesweepers, all named after British places ending in ham; hers is a village in Somerset. Brooke Marine launched her in July 1955 and completed her in February 1956. By 1970 she had passed to the Royal Naval Auxiliary Service as XSV Shipham, a civilian crewed, unarmed training vessel, and she was sold in 1986.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
