HMS Talent S92 Trafalgar Class Submarine December 2009 Sunset Photo Print
HMS Talent (S92), a Royal Navy Trafalgar Class submarine, lies surfaced and almost bows-on to the camera in the Kyle of Lochalsh on 2 December 2009, showing a little of her port bow. A handful of sailors are out on the casing beside the fin, one climbing down the side, while her red and green navigation lights glow and an ensign flies above the bridge. Pale gold light breaks through the cloud low over the hills behind her, above dark, rippled water.
As a nuclear-powered attack submarine, one of Talent's most important tasks was to protect the Polaris and later Trident boats of Britain's nuclear deterrent as they left harbour and slipped away on patrol. Her reactor allowed her to stay submerged for weeks at a time, so the length of a patrol was set mainly by the food she could carry.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
