HMS Torquay F43 Whitby Class Frigate Starboard Side View Photo Print
HMS Torquay (F43), a Royal Navy Whitby Class frigate, lies close in to a town waterfront in this undated photograph, seen on her starboard side with her bow to the right. Terraced houses and harbour buildings line the shore behind her, a bank of white cloud rises above the rooftops, and a line runs along her hull from forward. A few signal flags fly from her mast and the funnel carries the number 2.
Torquay paid off on 23 March 1985 as the longest serving ship of her class and the oldest frigate in the fleet, almost 29 years after she first commissioned. She was sold for scrap in 1987 and left Portsmouth under tow on 1 July that year for breaking up in Barcelona.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
