HMS Vanguard S28 Vanguard Class Submarine 2012 Photo Print
HMS Vanguard (S28), a Vanguard Class submarine, sails away from HM Naval Base Clyde on 24 September 2012, seen from low on her starboard quarter under a heavy grey sky. Her upper rudder, marked with red draught figures from 12 to 15 metres, stands close in the foreground, with the curve of her after casing and the fin beyond it and a forward hydroplane jutting out on the right. White water churns around her stern as she heads down the Clyde.
In December 2015 Vanguard arrived at Devonport for her second long overhaul, which included refuelling her reactor, something none of her sisters has needed. The work lasted more than seven years, the longest refit of any boat in her class, and she finally sailed from Devonport in 2023 to work up for patrols again.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
