HMS Victorious S29 Vanguard Class Submarine 2013 Silhouette Photo Print
HMS Victorious (S29) lies low on the water as a dark outline against broken cloud on 4 April 2013, with the sun bursting through above her and snow-capped peaks along the skyline beyond. Small figures can be made out standing along her casing, while her upper rudder sits apart from the hull towards the left of the frame and light glitters across the sea in the foreground.
Each Vanguard Class boat has two complete crews, known as Port and Starboard, who take turns so the submarine can spend as much time at sea as possible. Between them the four boats keep at least one submarine hidden on patrol at all times, carrying on the unbroken deterrent duty the Royal Navy took on in 1969. On patrol the crew cannot send messages home, so a return to the Clyde means a great deal to the families waiting ashore.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
