Royal Navy Merlin Mk4 Helicopter 845 NAS Norway 2026 Photo Print

The Royal Navy's commando Merlins began life as RAF Merlin HC3 and HC3A support helicopters, which passed to the Commando Helicopter Force in the mid 2010s and were converted to the Mk4 standard. The conversion gave them a folding main rotor and tail so they can be struck down below decks in an amphibious ship or carrier, a glass cockpit, and the nose turret seen here. Their job is to carry Royal Marines and their kit from ships offshore to the landing area.
This print is ideal for Commando Helicopter Force aircrew and engineers and anyone who has flown in a Merlin Mk4 with the Royal Marines.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
