RAF 32 Squadron BAe146 C Mk3 Camp Bastion Sandstorm 2013 Photo Print
A Royal Air Force BAe146 C Mk3 of 32 (The Royal) Squadron stands on the pan at Camp Bastion, Helmand, Afghanistan, in 2013, as a wall of brown dust from an approaching sandstorm fills the sky behind her. Seen from low down beside her nose, she is chocked, with a red cable running from the nose to the ground, two of her four engines hanging beneath the high wing and a green glow showing in the cockpit windows. A white four-wheel-drive and low buildings sit at the edge of the airfield beyond the yellow taxi line, on the occasion of the Mk3’s first arrival in theatre.
Based at RAF Northolt, 32 (The Royal) Squadron had flown the BAe146 CC Mk2 in its command support air transport role for more than a decade, including flights in support of operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. In 2013 it took on two BAe146 C Mk3s, converted from civilian 200QC Quick Change airliners, to add to the tactical airlift provided by the Hercules force as British troops began to withdraw from Afghanistan. The RAF flew its last BAe146 in March 2022, when the type was retired.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
