RAF Blackburn Botha I W5065 in Flight Photo Print
A Royal Air Force Blackburn Botha I, serial W5065, flies against a pale grey sky, seen from below and to the left. The serial is painted large under the port wing and again on the rear fuselage, the fuselage roundel has a pale outer ring, and the glazed nose, the port Bristol Perseus engine and the tailwheel, left down while the main wheels are tucked away, are all clear.
The Botha was designed as a four-seat reconnaissance and torpedo bomber and was built by Blackburn at Brough and Dumbarton. It proved underpowered for front-line work, and its time on operations with Coastal Command in 1940 was short. Most of the aircraft built went instead to training units, where they were used to teach reconnaissance, navigation, gunnery and wireless work.
This print is ideal for those interested in lesser-known wartime RAF types and anyone with a connection to Blackburn Aircraft or the RAF's wartime training schools.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
Your order will be crafted by award-winning framing technicians based in central England, with decades of combined experience. Using the finest FUJI professional photographic papers and premium materials, they ensure exceptional print and frame quality.
Our hand-picked craftsmen and women work with state-of-the-art printing and cutting equipment, yet every frame is still assembled by hand and subject to rigorous quality checks. Their dedication consistently results in outstanding work, appreciated by many returning customers.
