RAF Joint Force Harrier ZD470 Over Akrotiri September 2010 Photo Print
Harrier ZD470, tail number 60, banks high above RAF Akrotiri in Cyprus on 22 September 2010, photographed from a second Harrier during Exercise Harding Flame. The runway, airfield buildings and the Akrotiri peninsula lie far below, with the deep blue Mediterranean on the left, and the jet carries white stores on its underwing pylons.
The photo was taken while 800 Naval Air Squadron, normally based at RAF Cottesmore as part of Joint Force Harrier, spent a month at Akrotiri on air-to-air training. Joint Force Harrier had brought RAF and Fleet Air Arm Harrier squadrons together under one command in 2000, flying the same aircraft from land bases and carriers. Within three months of this sortie the whole force was retired under the 2010 defence review. The picture won LA(Phot) Luis Holden the Navy News award in the 2011 Peregrine Trophy.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
