RAF 41 Squadron Jaguar Taxiing Thumrait Oman February 2005 Photo Print
A Royal Air Force Jaguar of 41 Squadron from RAF Coltishall taxies head on towards the camera at Thumrait, Oman, on 22 February 2005, during Exercise Magic Carpet. Heat haze rises off the pale runway, the landing light is on, and the aircraft carries underwing drop tanks, rails above the wings and a Paveway bomb on the centreline. The code FC can be read on the nose gear door.
The Jaguar joined the RAF in the 1970s as a low-level strike and reconnaissance aircraft, and Coltishall in Norfolk was home to Jaguar squadrons from 1974. Later upgrades let the type carry precision weapons such as Paveway. Coltishall closed in 2006 and the Jaguar left RAF service the following year, so this deployment to Oman came near the end of its career.
This print is ideal for 41 Squadron veterans, Jaguar ground crew and anyone who served at RAF Coltishall.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
