RAF Juno HT1 ZM509 Snow and Hare Shawbury March 2018 Photo Print
A Royal Air Force Juno HT1 training helicopter, ZM509, coded 09, of the Defence Helicopter Flying School, hovers low over a snow-covered field near RAF Shawbury on 1st March 2018 as snow falls around her. She is seen from her right side in black and yellow training colours, with the school’s badge on the cabin door. Her downwash whips the snow into a white cloud against the bare trees, while a brown hare sprints away across the field below.
RAF Shawbury in Shropshire was first used for military flying training by the Royal Flying Corps in 1917. Since April 1997 it has been home to the Defence Helicopter Flying School, which trains helicopter pilots for the Royal Navy, the Army and the RAF. The first Junos arrived on 3rd April 2017 and the last of the fleet of 29 on 24th May 2018, bringing touch-screen cockpit displays to basic training so that students learn on the same kind of instruments they will meet in frontline helicopters.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
