RAF BBMF Lancaster over Westminster Abbey September 2024 Photo Print
The Royal Air Force Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Lancaster passes over the west towers of Westminster Abbey on 15 September 2024, Battle of Britain Day. The RAF ensign flies from the tower top against a clear blue sky, and the scene is framed by the leaves of a tree in the foreground.
The flypast marked the annual service of thanksgiving and rededication held in the Abbey for the 84th anniversary of the Battle of Britain. The Abbey's RAF Chapel holds the Battle of Britain Memorial Window, unveiled by King George VI in 1947 in honour of the aircrew of Fighter Command. The BBMF Lancaster, PA474, is one of only two Lancasters still flying and is kept at RAF Coningsby.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
