RAF Poseidon MRA1 Trio Keflavik Iceland Sunrise November 2025 Photo Print
A wider view of three Royal Air Force Poseidon MRA1s lined up at Keflavik Air Base, Iceland, on 17 November 2025, showing the full length of the nearest aircraft, serial ZP806, with its tail number 06. The tall fins of 05 and 08 rise beyond it, and the sunrise lights the tails and wings above a wet apron, with snow-marked hills and heavy cloud behind.
Keflavik was a United States Naval Air Station throughout the Cold War, watching Soviet submarines passing through the gap between Greenland, Iceland and the United Kingdom. Iceland keeps no armed forces of its own, so allied aircraft rotate through the base. The RAF's Poseidons now carry on that same watch over the North Atlantic, flying long patrols far from their home at RAF Lossiemouth.
This print is ideal for maritime patrol aircrew, old Nimrod hands and anyone with a connection to the Poseidon Force.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
