RAF 33 Squadron Puma HC2 Pair Sennybridge January 2025 Photo Print
Two Royal Air Force Puma HC2 helicopters of 33 Squadron from RAF Benson approach over the Sennybridge training area in mid Wales, one turning away and the other heading straight for the camera, while two figures in full kit with rifles and bergens stride through rough moorland grass below. The picture was taken on 30 January 2025, when the Pumas were trooping for an Army Cadet exercise.
The Puma entered RAF service in 1971, with 33 Squadron as its first operator, and the upgraded HC2 with more powerful engines served from Benson until the type was retired in 2025. This sortie, flown alongside an 18 Squadron Chinook from Odiham, was among the last times the two helicopter forces worked together. Sennybridge, on the edge of the Brecon Beacons, has long been used for infantry training and helicopter trooping.
This print is ideal for Puma aircrew and engineers and anyone with a connection to 33 Squadron or RAF Benson.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
Your order will be crafted by award-winning framing technicians based in central England, with decades of combined experience. Using the finest FUJI professional photographic papers and premium materials, they ensure exceptional print and frame quality.
Our hand-picked craftsmen and women work with state-of-the-art printing and cutting equipment, yet every frame is still assembled by hand and subject to rigorous quality checks. Their dedication consistently results in outstanding work, appreciated by many returning customers.
