RAF RC-135W Rivet Joint Buckingham Palace Flypast June 2026 Photo Print
A Royal Air Force RC-135W Rivet Joint, white above and grey below, is photographed from above as it passes over Buckingham Palace during the King's Birthday flypast on 13 June 2026. Beneath the aircraft are the trees of Green Park, the road beside the palace and large crowds packed around the Memorial Gardens, with the palace roof and a line of cars in its forecourt at the bottom of the frame.
The RC-135W is a signals intelligence aircraft, bought by the RAF under the Airseeker programme to replace the Nimrod R1; three were delivered and the type has been in service since 2014. All three are flown by 51 Squadron from RAF Waddington in Lincolnshire, and the long nose and cheek fairings on the forward fuselage house much of its sensor equipment. The flypast closes the King's Birthday Parade, also known as Trooping the Colour, held for the monarch's official birthday.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
