RAF Red Arrows and Vulcan XH558 Southport September 2015 Photo Print
Nine red Hawk T1s of the Royal Air Force Red Arrows fly in a wide V beside Avro Vulcan XH558 over the sea off the north-west coast of England on 19 September 2015. Seen from directly above, the Vulcan sits inside the arms of the V, its camouflaged delta and roundels plain against the dark water, while the Hawks form two lines that meet at the left of the frame. It was the last time the team and the bomber flew together, joining up about ten miles off Prestatyn before a flypast along the coast at the Southport Air Show.
The Red Arrows have flown the Hawk T1 since 1980, and in 2015 the team was still based at RAF Scampton in Lincolnshire, a station that had once been home to Vulcan squadrons. XH558 was the last Vulcan in the air anywhere, kept flying after its RAF career by a charitable trust, and 2015 was announced as its final season. Both the team and the bomber also gave their own displays at Southport that afternoon.

We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
