RAF Red Arrows and Wings of Storm Croatian Coast April 2024 Photo Print
Nine Hawk T1 jets of the Red Arrows, the Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team, trail red, white and blue smoke across a wooded headland on the Croatian coast near Zadar in April 2024, following six aircraft of the Wings of Storm, the Croatian Air Force display team. The Croatian Pilatus PC-9Ms lead the mixed formation out over the turquoise shallows at upper left, while below the Hawks lie a large curved resort building, swimming pools, villas and pine woodland running down to a pale rocky shore. The flypast took place during Exercise Springhawk, as the team prepared for its 60th display season.
The Red Arrows’ coloured smoke is made by injecting diesel into the jet exhaust, with dye added to give the red and blue. Each pilot is drawn from a front-line fast-jet squadron and usually serves three years with the team before returning to operational flying. The team’s motto, Éclat, means brilliance, and it has represented the RAF at displays across the world since its first season in 1965.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
