RAF Red Arrows Coronation Victoria Memorial Crowds May 2023 Photo Print
Nine Hawk T1 jets of the Red Arrows, the Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team, climb steeply above Buckingham Palace on 6th May 2023, in the flypast for the Coronation of King Charles III. The formation flies in a tight arrowhead high in a grey sky, its long smoke trails falling away in three bands: red on the left, white in the centre and blue on the right. The photograph looks out from high above the palace gates, across a vast crowd packed around the Victoria Memorial and its gilded figure and stretching all the way down The Mall. The London skyline, with the London Eye and the towers of the City, lines the horizon beyond the trees.
For almost forty years before its move to RAF Waddington in 2022, the team’s home was RAF Scampton, also in Lincolnshire, the station from which 617 Squadron flew the Dambusters raid in 1943. The Red Arrows’ Hawks shared the airfield’s long runway and historic hangars with that wartime past until the station’s flying days came to an end.

We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
