RAF Red Arrows Eight Hawks Over Bournemouth Boats September 2023 Photo Print
The Red Arrows, the Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team, climb high over the sea on 3rd September 2023, the fourth and final day of the Bournemouth Air Festival. The photographer was on board a Royal Navy Archer Class P2000 patrol boat of the Coastal Forces. Eight Hawks hold a wide, stepped formation at the top of this upright frame. Their white smoke trails sweep down and away to the right in a long curve across a bright blue sky streaked with thin cloud. Below them, the water is crowded with spectator boats, from small motor launches to a large cruiser, and the cliffs and houses of the coastline run along the horizon.
Coastal shows such as Bournemouth have long been part of the Red Arrows’ summer. The team has flown since 1965, and by the start of its 60th season in 2024 it had given almost 5,000 displays in 57 countries. Displays over water let crowds watch from the beach, the clifftops and the sea itself.

We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
