RAF Red Arrows Five Hawks and Gnat Cloud Bank March 2024 Photo Print
Five Red Arrows Hawk T1s of the Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team fly with a yellow former Royal Air Force Folland Gnat in a loose group over Lincolnshire on 8th March 2024, the day the classic jet joined the team for the start of its 60th display season. All six head towards the upper right of the frame, with the Gnat on the right-hand side among the red jets and none of them trailing smoke. Behind them rises a tall bank of white cloud, a thin contrail crosses the blue sky above, and the horizon tilts away to the lower right over hazy farmland.
The Red Arrows did not begin as a nine-jet team. They flew their first season in 1965 with seven Gnats. The team grew to nine aircraft only in 1968, and that was when the Diamond Nine was first flown. It has been a nine-jet display ever since, through the change from the Gnat to the Hawk and into the 60th season.

We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
