RAF Red Arrows D-Day 80 Flypast Over Portsmouth June 2024 Photo Print
Four Royal Air Force Red Arrows Hawk T1s trail red smoke over Portsmouth on 5 June 2024 during the national D-Day 80 commemoration, photographed through the canopy of another aircraft flying alongside. The nearest jet carries the Diamond season '60' badge on its fin and fuselage. Below them are Southsea seafront, the Clarence Pier funfair and the edge of Southsea Common, with the Spinnaker Tower, Gunwharf Quays, the harbour entrance and Gosport beyond in bright sunshine.
The Ministry of Defence held the UK's national commemorative event for the 80th anniversary of D-Day on Southsea Common, attended by the King, the Prime Minister and veterans and broadcast live on BBC One. Portsmouth was one of the main ports for the invasion fleet in June 1944, and nearby Southwick House was the headquarters from which the landings were directed. The Red Arrows led the flypast over the city, joined by the Typhoon display aircraft.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
