RAF Red Arrows Hawk XX295 D-Day 80 Normandy Flypast June 2024 Photo Print
Four Hawk T1 jets of the Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team, the Red Arrows, bank in close formation high above a coastline on 6th June 2024, during the team's flypast for the 80th anniversary of D-Day. Hawk XX295 leads the frame, seen from above and behind her port quarter, with the "60" of the team's 60th display season on the fuselage and the Union Flag tail fin. Two more Hawks sit tucked in beyond her and a fourth flies out to the right, while a white smoke trail from another aircraft crosses the top corner. Far below, towns and fields run down to the shore beneath broken cloud. The flypast was flown for the UK's national commemorative event at the British Normandy Memorial, Ver-sur-Mer.
The Hawk first flew in 1974 and entered Royal Air Force service as an advanced trainer in 1976. The Red Arrows converted to it from the Folland Gnat in time for the 1980 season and have displayed with it ever since. The RAF withdrew the Hawk T1 from its other flying units in 2022, leaving the Red Arrows as the last RAF operator of the type.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
