RAF Red Arrows Over Bournemouth Bay September 2023 Photo Print
The Red Arrows, the Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team, run in from the right in a line of Hawk T1 jets on 3rd September 2023, the final day of the Bournemouth Air Festival, laying long white smoke trails across a clear blue sky. Below them the bay is crowded with spectator craft. In the foreground a white catamaran named Rocket carries passengers watching from her upper deck, while behind her a large dark-hulled vessel is dressed overall with signal flags strung between her two masts. The cliffs and seafront of Bournemouth stretch along the horizon.
The Red Arrows’ smoke is made by pumping diesel into the hot exhaust of each Hawk’s engine, with dye added to the diesel to give the red and blue. Plain white, as in this photograph, is the diesel alone. Every display depends on the team’s engineers and support staff, known as the Blues after the colour of their flying suits, who travel with the aircraft through each display season.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
