RAF Red Arrows Smoke Trail Over Portsmouth Harbour June 2024 Photo Print
A Hawk T1 of the Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team, the Red Arrows, lays a thick band of red smoke across Portsmouth Harbour on 5th June 2024, during the team's flypast for the 80th anniversary of D-Day. Only the rear half of the jet is in frame on the right, showing her starboard side with the "60" season markings and the Union Flag tail fin. The tails of three more Hawks are visible ahead of her. The smoke stretches back over the whole harbour, with the Spinnaker Tower standing clear in the centre, the marina and waterfront buildings at its foot, and the far shore crowded with moored yachts. In the foreground the streets of the city give way to a sports ground with a running track and a blue all-weather pitch. The flypast marked the UK's national commemorative event on Southsea Common, attended by HM The King.
Each Red Arrows display pilot normally serves a three-year tour with the team, and all are experienced fast jet pilots selected from frontline squadrons. The nine pilots are supported by a large team of engineers and support staff, known as the Blues after the colour of their flying suits. The Diamond Season of 2024 marked 60 years since the team's first public displays in 1965.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
Your order will be crafted by award-winning framing technicians based in central England, with decades of combined experience. Using the finest FUJI professional photographic papers and premium materials, they ensure exceptional print and frame quality.
Our hand-picked craftsmen and women work with state-of-the-art printing and cutting equipment, yet every frame is still assembled by hand and subject to rigorous quality checks. Their dedication consistently results in outstanding work, appreciated by many returning customers.
