RAF Regiment Forward Air Controllers Typhoon Cape Wrath March 2013 Photo Print
Three RAF Regiment forward air controllers from the Air Land Integration Cell work from a clifftop above the sea at the Cape Wrath range in Scotland on 28 March 2013, while a Typhoon of 6 Squadron passes overhead. One airman lies prone behind a tripod-mounted laser target designator, one kneels beside it, and the third stands with a radio pack and headset, watching the jet.
The Air Land Integration Cell was based at RAF Honington, and its controllers trained here for Operation Herrick in Afghanistan and for contingency operations. During this exercise they marked targets by laser and talked the pilots on to them so that inert Paveway II bombs hit their marks. 6 Squadron had re-formed on the Typhoon in 2010 and was adding air-to-ground strike to its air defence role.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
