RAF Sea King HAR3A ZH540 SAR 70 Markings September 2011 Photo Print
Royal Air Force Sea King HAR3A ZH540 flies side-on across a pale, hazy sky, with the rotors turning and the main wheels down. It carries the special RAF SAR 70 badge and the words 70 Years of Life Saving on its yellow fuselage, applied for the anniversary year. Tony Hisgett took this photograph on 3 September 2011.
RAF search and rescue traced its roots to the air sea rescue organisation set up in 1941 to recover aircrew downed in the sea, so 2011 marked seventy years of the service. ZH540 was the first of six HAR3A Sea Kings, ZH540 to ZH545, delivered in 1996 to add to the older HAR3 fleet.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
