Royal Air Force Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Supermarine Spitfire photographed in flight shortly after departing RAF Coningsby during a 2025 photochase sortie captured from the front gunner seat of the Lancaster Bomber. The sortie saw 30 Squadron bring together the Lancaster Bomber known as 'Leader' a Dakota and the Spitfire all departing RAF Coningsby to link up with an A400M Atlas of 30 Squadron flying from its home base of RAF Brize Norton which served as the air-to-air platform for RAF Visual Communicators. The Supermarine Spitfire remains one of the most iconic fighter aircraft ever produced serving the Royal Air Force throughout the Second World War and beyond. Today aircraft operated by the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight continue to fly across the UK preserving the legacy of wartime aviation and honouring those who served during the Battle of Britain.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
