RAF BBMF Spitfire AB910 and Hurricane LF363 Over Dunes May 2004 Photo Print
Spitfire AB910 and Hurricane LF363 of the Royal Air Force Battle of Britain Memorial Flight cross a stretch of coast on 15 May 2004, the Spitfire nearest and the Hurricane beyond it out over the water. Below lies a strip of sand dunes crossed by tracks and dotted with low buildings, between bright green fields and a long beach running down to deep blue sea.
In 2004 AB910 wore the desert colours and IR-G codes of the Spitfire flown by Wing Commander Ian Gleed, who led 244 Wing in North Africa and was killed over Tunisia in April 1943. The small cartoon of Figaro the cat, Gleed's personal emblem, can be seen just behind the cockpit. The Flight repaints its fighters every few years so that each colour scheme honours a different pilot or unit.
This print is ideal for those with an interest in the Desert Air Force and anyone who follows the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
