RAF Typhoon FGR4 and a Romanian MiG-21 Lancer May 2017 Photo Print
A Royal Air Force Typhoon and a Romanian Air Force MiG-21 LanceR fly in close company overhead, seen from below against a clear blue sky, with the grey Typhoon above and the blue and grey MiG slightly behind and beneath it. Both carry underwing fuel tanks, and the Typhoon has a missile on each outer wing pylon. The pair passed over Mihail Kogalniceanu Air Base in Romania on 3 May 2017, only days after the RAF detachment arrived there.
The Typhoons came to Romania in late April 2017 for the first time, supporting NATO's enhanced Air Policing mission over the Black Sea under the UK operation named BILOXI. MOD material for that first deployment says the aircraft came from 3 (Fighter) Squadron at RAF Coningsby. The LanceR is a Romanian upgrade of the Soviet-designed MiG-21, rebuilt in the 1990s with Israeli avionics so that it could carry Western weapons.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
