RAF Typhoon FGR4 Union Jack Afterburner Menai Strait August 2023 Photo Print
Royal Air Force Typhoon FGR4 ZJ914 banks steeply above the Menai Strait on 9 August 2023, showing the full Union Jack design on the underside of its wings. Reheat glows orange at the nozzles and a heat haze trails behind, while a large fuel tank is slung beneath the fuselage. A town on the mainland shore sits below, with the Strait, the Anglesey farmland and the open sea beyond.
The Menai Strait separates Anglesey from mainland Wales and lies only a few minutes' flying from RAF Valley. ZJ914 wore the 'Blackjack' scheme, the Typhoon Display Team's livery for the 2021 to 2023 seasons, which combined the Union Flag and the RAF roundel over a black finish. Its two EJ200 engines give the Typhoon enough thrust to climb away steeply in reheat.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
