RFA Sir Percivale L3036 Round Table Class Ship 1982 Photo Print
RFA Sir Percivale (L3036), a Royal Fleet Auxiliary Round Table Class ship, moves through Portsmouth Harbour in 1982, shown broadside from close in on her starboard side in black and white. Her pennant number is painted both near the bow and further aft, dockyard cranes and waterfront buildings line the shore behind her, and a light bow wave curls away as she makes steady way on a grey, flat day.
In 1982 Sir Percivale sailed south with the amphibious task group for the Falklands and worked in San Carlos Water during the landings, delivering troops, vehicles and stores ashore while the anchorage came under Argentine air attack. Two of her sisters paid a heavy price in that campaign: Sir Galahad and Sir Tristram were bombed at Fitzroy on 8 June 1982, with Sir Galahad later scuttled as a war grave.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
