RFA Wave Knight A389 Wave Class Tanker June 2017 At Anchor Starboard View Photo Print
RFA Wave Knight (A389), a Royal Fleet Auxiliary Wave Class tanker, rides at anchor on 13 June 2017, seen low across the water from abreast her starboard side. Wooded hills and a scattering of buildings line the shore behind her, heaped white clouds build over the land, and a long rust stain runs from her hawse pipe down the bow. Her pennant number A389 is painted aft, below the superstructure, and a Blue Ensign flies at the bow.
Much of her Caribbean service has been counter-narcotics work. In September 2013, while on Atlantic Patrol Task (North) alongside HMS Lancaster, she recovered around 1,300 kilograms of cannabis worth about £6.4 million. In November 2016 a Royal Marines sniper in her 815 Naval Air Squadron Lynx disabled a fleeing go-fast boat after a six-hour chase, in a bust valued at around £40 million.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
