RFA Wave Ruler A390 Wave Class Tanker At Sea Approaching Replenishment Photo Print
RFA Wave Ruler (A390), a Royal Fleet Auxiliary Wave Class tanker, runs the full width of the picture showing her port side, taken with a wide lens from close alongside, with a long white wash streaming down her hull. Members of her crew line the guardrail at the after end of the flight deck, and her replenishment rigs rise from the deck forward under a clear, cloudless sky. The photograph is undated.
In late 2014 she deployed with the Cougar 14 task group and stayed east of Suez until she was relieved in June 2015. She spent the latter part of 2016 and early 2017 supporting Flag Officer Sea Training in Scottish waters and the English Channel. In February 2022 it was reported that she and Wave Knight would go into extended readiness without crews, and in February 2026 Inocea Group announced it had bought both ships with a view to returning them to service with allied nations.
This print is ideal for Royal Fleet Auxiliary veterans, anyone who served in RFA Wave Ruler during her later years and anyone who followed the Wave class through to their sale in 2026.

We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
