47 Commando Royal Marine Raid Silhouette Norway February 2022 Photo Print

He was photographed on 16 February 2022 in northern Norway during Winter Deployment 22, when marines of 40 Commando's Charlie Company raided along the fjords from inflatable raiding craft crewed by 539 Assault Squadron of 47 Commando.
47 Commando takes its name from 47 (Royal Marine) Commando of the Second World War, which landed in Normandy in June 1944 and fought its way into Port-en-Bessin to link the British and American beaches. The title was revived in 2019, when the Royal Marines' landing craft and boat training organisation became 47 Commando (Raiding Group), based at RM Tamar in Devonport. Its 539 Assault Squadron specialises in small boat raiding, putting marines ashore quietly from the sea.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
