Royal Marines Band Service Coronation Procession May 2023 Photo Print
The Royal Marines Band Service marches in the Coronation Procession of King Charles III on its way through Admiralty Arch on 6 May 2023, seen from high above between two large Union Flags. The drum majors lead, with ranks of drummers behind them and the brass following, their white helmets bright against the rain-soaked road, while the naval contingent follows in column.
The Band Service grew out of the Royal Naval School of Music, founded in 1903 to train musicians for the fleet, and it still provides the Royal Navy's musicians today. In the Falklands in 1982 its members served as stretcher bearers and medical assistants. In September 1989 eleven Royal Marines musicians were killed when the IRA bombed the Royal Marines School of Music at Deal.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
