40 Commando Royal Marines Boarding a Sea King March 2014 Photo Print
Royal Marines of Bravo Company, 40 Commando, line up to board a camouflaged Sea King helicopter on a ship's flight deck on 10 March 2014, during Exercise Southwest Sword. Six marines with rifles wait in single file, silhouetted against a pale sky, while two flight deck crew in blue helmets stand by and the rotors turn.
The Sea King HC4, known as the 'Junglie', carried Royal Marines into action from the Falklands in 1982 to Afghanistan, and was flown by the Commando Helicopter Force until it was retired in 2016. Southwest Sword was Bravo Company's spring work-up in the South West, sharpening its amphibious and aviation skills ahead of Exercise Joint Warrior. Moving a company on and off a flight deck by helicopter is one of the core drills of commando work from the sea.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
