Royal Navy Sailor Guard Windsor Castle December 2020 Photo Print
A Royal Navy Able Rating on guard at Windsor Castle, photographed from behind on 1 December 2020. His white cap and the fixed bayonet on his shouldered rifle stand out sharply against a clear blue sky, while the Round Tower and its flag are softly out of focus in the background.
Mounting the guard at Windsor is a duty usually carried out by the Household Division, so this was an unusual task for the Navy. The sailors, drawn from units across the country, first passed an inspection by the Brigade Major at Victoria Barracks, Windsor, before taking over the posts. Once on duty they kept watch day and night in two divisions, guarding a castle that has been a royal home for more than 900 years.
This print is ideal for sailors who stood the Windsor guard in December 2020 and anyone with a connection to the Royal Navy's ceremonial duties.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
