RAF F-35B Lightnings Coronation Rehearsal Cranwell April 2023 Photo Print
Six Royal Air Force F-35B Lightning jets fly low over RAF College Cranwell on 25 April 2023, during a rehearsal for the Coronation Flypast of King Charles III and Queen Camilla. Seen from another aircraft, they pass in a loose, staggered line with one pair tucked in close together, above a broad stretch of freshly turned brown earth beyond the domed tower of College Hall, while blossom trees flower in the grounds below.
The Lightning is flown by a joint force of RAF and Royal Navy crews from RAF Marham in Norfolk, and its short take-off and vertical landing design lets it operate from the Navy's flat-decked ships as well as from land. RAF College Cranwell opened in 1920 as the world's first military air academy, and College Hall has been the home of RAF officer training since the 1930s. More than 30 aircraft took part in the rehearsal, although on the day itself poor weather kept the jets on the ground and only helicopters and the Red Arrows flew over the Palace.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
