British Army Soldier Firing SA80-A3 Rifle Brecon November 2024 Photo Print
A British Army soldier stands in tall moorland grass and fires his SA80-A3 rifle during a live-fire attack at Brecon on 22 November 2024, part of the Light Close Reconnaissance Commanders Course. A spent case is caught in mid-air beside the rifle, and he carries a heavily loaded daysack and a helmet wrapped in scrim, against a soft autumn background of brown grass and trees.
The SA80-A3 is the latest version of the L85 rifle, which has been the British Army's standard personal weapon since the mid-1980s, and came into service from 2018 with a new rail system and other improvements. Light close reconnaissance is the job of small teams working well forward of the main force, and commanders on the course must learn to lead those teams in contact as well as to observe unseen. The Brecon Beacons and the nearby Sennybridge Training Area have long been the home of British infantry tactics and live-fire training.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
