British Army Coldstream Guards Ensign May 2025 Photo Print
The Ensign of the Coldstream Guards, British Army, stands with the Colour raised in front of his bearskin during a rehearsal for Trooping the Colour on Horse Guards Parade in London on 21 May 2025. His white Colour belt, crimson sash and white gloves stand out sharply, while officers with drawn swords stand beside him and the ranks and empty grandstands behind melt into a soft blur of scarlet and blue.
The Coldstream Guards trace their origins to 1650, when Monck's Regiment of Foot was raised for Cromwell's New Model Army. On 1 January 1660 General Monck marched them south from the village of Coldstream on the Scottish border to help restore Charles II, and the regiment still claims to be the oldest in continuous service in the Regular Army, hence its motto Nulli Secundus, second to none.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
