British Army Royal Welsh Warrior IFV Iron Storm August 2023 Photo Print
A Warrior Infantry Fighting Vehicle of the Royal Welsh Battlegroup, British Army, crosses rough grass on Exercise Iron Storm at the Altmark Training Area in Germany on 30 August 2023. Leafy branches are tied along the hull and turret for camouflage, a helmeted crewman looks out from the turret under tall radio antennas, and pale buildings and street lamps fade into the mist behind the vehicle, number 4022.
The Royal Welsh was formed in 2006 from The Royal Welch Fusiliers and The Royal Regiment of Wales, and its 1st Battalion served as armoured infantry mounted in Warrior. Warrior entered service in the late 1980s and saw action in the Gulf War of 1991, then in the Balkans, Iraq and Afghanistan, carrying a section of infantry behind a 30mm Rarden cannon. Iron Storm took more than 1,000 soldiers of the battlegroup to Germany for large-scale manoeuvre training.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
