British Army Household Cavalry and Welsh Guards June 2024 Photo Print
Horse Guards Parade is seen from above on 25 June 2024, as the Welsh Guards, British Army, stand as the Guard of Honour before the Royal Pavilion for the State Visit of the Emperor and Empress of Japan. In the foreground the mounted troopers of the Sovereign's Escort from the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment wait in two long ranks with an officer out in front, while the Guard of Honour and a band form up by the pavilion with the Guards Memorial, St James's Park and its lake behind. It is a bright summer day, with blue stands along both sides of the parade ground.
The Household Cavalry is made up of the Life Guards and the Blues and Royals, and its Mounted Regiment at Hyde Park Barracks in Knightsbridge provides the Sovereign's Escort on state occasions. The Life Guards and the Royal Horse Guards both date from the 1660s, the Restoration of Charles II, and the Blues and Royals were formed in 1969 when the Royal Horse Guards joined with the Royal Dragoons.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
