HMS Apollo (M01) was an Abdiel Class Minelayer of the Royal Navy, the eighth ship to bear the name. She served with the Home Fleet during the Second World War and took part in the Normandy Landings, before later joining the British Pacific Fleet. After being placed in reserve in 1946, she was recommissioned in 1951 and remained in service until 1961, before being sold for scrapping in 1962. Designed for speed and precision, vessels of this class played a crucial role in rapid minelaying operations during wartime.
